Having worked for years in enterprise software and big data projects in large corporations, I’ve seen quite a few systems — and I know how tricky it can be to make them both fast and flexible.

That’s why what my friend Arvind Agarwalla showed me recently really stood out: CXO Control Tower (part of FACT ERP.NG).

We’re talking about loading 6.6 million records from multiple sources in a fraction of a second (0.81s), instant filtering and grouping, and the ability to drill down into both structured (ERP-style) and unstructured data (documents, PDFs, etc.).

What’s even more impressive — it runs perfectly on a regular PC over a regular internet connection. No expensive infrastructure needed.

It’s also not limited to ERP — the same engine can easily be used in other industries: legal (document search), healthcare (patient data), financial services (transactions), and more.

All in all — very well thought-out and super practical solution.
